Proton and Heavy Ion Therapy Facilities

For proton or heavy ion therapy centers a very interdisciplinary team of planning partners must be available. Next to the „standard“ architect and engineering firms there will be physicians to define the medical requirements, medical planners to define the patient flow and treatment planning input, radiation safety experts, mechanical engineering companies and an accelerator manufacturer. To coordinate and build reliable interfaces between these teams it becomes necessary to fill the gap and translate each others language.

Meissner Consulting fills the gap between the planning partners. Our core business is radiation safety for accelerator facilities and interface management between partners of various disciplines.

Partnering with ACCEL Instruments GmbH we can offer a complete facility solution according to the medical requirements. ACCEL Instruments provides the complete therapy equipment, ranging from cyclotron or synchrotron to the patient treatment gantry.
